Step 1: Locate the BIS or ISI mark on the product package. Step 2: Go to www.bis.gov.in. Step 3: Hover the cursor over Conformity Assistant and click on ‘Online Information’ under the ‘Product Certification’ segment.
Step 4: Click on Product Certification Scheme and scroll down and select ‘Search a license.’
Step 5: Go to the ‘Status of License’ tab and fill in the License number (CM/L), Registration Number, or the Name of Firm. Click on the relevant field to fill it in. Enter the captcha and select ‘Generate Report.’
