At a press event held in New Delhi Realme India’s CEO, Madhav Sheth revealed that the company is planning to launch the Realme XT in India before Diwali that means in October. Additionally, the company also revealed at a press meet in China that Realme XT will only be released in India and not in its home market first. Various website also shared few images of the press meet held in China only along with the specifications of the Realme XT on the Chinese website Weibo. According to the shared images, the forthcoming smartphone by Realme will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC along with up to 8GB of RAM. Realme XT will offer 128GB of internal storage. The reveal also suggested that the phone will be launched in three storage options 4GB with 64GB of storage, 6GB with 64GB of internal storage and lastly 8GB along with 128GB of onboard storage options. Apart from that, the new mobile phone is expected to feature 6.4-inch of Super AMOLED screen along with a waterdrop-style notch on the front panel. To give it life, the handset will be supported by a 4,000mAh battery along with 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The phone will run on ColorOS 6, based over Android 9 Pie. Besides this, the phone will arrive with a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary shooter having f/1.8 aperture, which we already know. The quad-camera set up will also include 8-megapixel wide-angle-camera with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. Both the tertiary, as well as the fourth camera sensor will have an f/2.4 aperture. While on the front it is supposed to sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Through its official post, we got to know that Realme XT will debut in Silver Wing White colour variant and another one will be the pearl blue colour variant. However, none of the websites revealed the launch date nor the pricing of the phone but Realme XT will be put on sale in the coming month.
