As per the latest Blog post Text Watermarks can be added to the Google Docs document. Whether dealing with Microsoft Word documents, text watermarks are also kept when importing or exporting your files. As per the company Text watermarks will appear on every page of your document, making them helpful for signalling file status, such as “Confidential” or “Draft,” before distributing more widely, regardless of the programme you use. You may add an image watermark or pictures above or behind the text in addition to text watermarks. This tool will be accessible to all Google Workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers. A gradual rollout has begun and is likely to be available to everyone in a few weeks. To recall Google Docs received an image watermark feature in September last year letting users put an image watermark on every page of a Google Docs document.
Here is how to insert an image watermark in your document
To the right, click Image Options to launch a panel. Text Wrapping should be set to ‘In front of text’. Adjustments may be found by scrolling down to Image Options. Change the image’s transparency. Adjust the brightness and contrast as needed; make sure your image is appropriately adjusted otherwise it will be impossible to move out from behind the letters. Make your documents read-only and share them with others.
